First Steps to Becoming a Member

    What is KYB information?

    KYB stands for "Know-Your-Business". This is sometimes referred to as KYC which stands for "Know-Your-Customer."

    Why does Avinode Group require this information?

    Avinode Group requires all its members to undergo the verification process to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, following know-your-business (KYB) practices. Your KYB information enables us to maintain platform security and build trust among members.

    During this process, we verify that your company legally exists, understand how it's organized, and, identify ultimate business owners (UBOs) and major shareholders.

    Once approved, you're all set to sign the membership agreement, pay the fees, and begin onboarding training with your team.

    If you are an existing member who wants to use Paynode, completing the verification process is a prerequisite for activating Paynode.

     

    From submission to approval

    This is how the verification process works. Our team is here to guide you through every step of the process of becoming an Avinode Group member. 

    Step-by-step guide: 

    1. Identify who in your organization can provide the company's KYB information
    2. Request your Account Manager to grant this person access to your company's form.
    3. Fill out the form with the required information and upload the necessary documents. (Certain sections of the form are optional, depending on Country Requirements).
    4. After completing the form, agree to the terms and conditions, and submit it for review. In some cases, you may need to provide clarifications or additional documentation.
    5. Once approved, you are ready to proceed to sign the membership agreement.
    • For Paynode access: Paynode's solution providers review and validate the provided information. Once your company is approved, your Paynode account setup will be finalized.

    Tips

    • The entire process can speed up, as long as all necessary documents are submitted correctly and in full.
    • Review the templates and samples we offer to ensure the documentation passes the validation process.
    • If there's any additional information or documentation required, just upload them to the verification form and remember to resubmit.

    As an Avinode Group member, you have several Avinode employees (Noders) assigned to your account. Each of these Noders has a role in supporting your company’s goals and the day-to-day workflow. The breakdown below will give you a better understanding of each role and how we can assist you and your team's needs.

    They are the go-to person for any questions about your account membership including adjustments to your fleet or account users, API integrations or other account add-ons, and billing questions. They are also here to have a conversation about your business, including your plans for the future, and how Avinode Group products may help.

    Your Account Manager is listed on your home page when you log on to Avinode, where you also can find their contact details.

    Your Onboarding Specialist will help with onboarding, implementation, and adoption of the Avinode Group products so that you can reach your operational goals while deriving our products maximum value. Your specialist will help setup your account and train your team while also educating you on existing and new features of Avinode. They will be your contact for the first few weeks while you start your account.

    Your Customer Success Manager (CSM) will ensure you receive maximum value from the features you subscribe to. You can contact your CSM to talk about best practices on workflow, tips and tricks on optimizing your account, as well as to discuss feedback. This feedback they will bring back to our product teams. Your CSM is your product expert, and they are here to monitor the success of your account, your Customer Success Manger is listed on your home page where you also can find their contact details.

    Contact our support team when you need immediate assistance regarding a system issue or when you believe technical support is necessary. If you cannot find the answer to your "how to?" question in our Academy section, this team is also available.
