What is KYB information?

KYB stands for "Know-Your-Business". This is sometimes referred to as KYC which stands for "Know-Your-Customer."

Why does Avinode Group require this information?

Avinode Group requires all its members to undergo the verification process to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, following know-your-business (KYB) practices. Your KYB information enables us to maintain platform security and build trust among members.

During this process, we verify that your company legally exists, understand how it's organized, and, identify ultimate business owners (UBOs) and major shareholders.

Once approved, you're all set to sign the membership agreement, pay the fees, and begin onboarding training with your team.

If you are an existing member who wants to use Paynode, completing the verification process is a prerequisite for activating Paynode.

From submission to approval

This is how the verification process works. Our team is here to guide you through every step of the process of becoming an Avinode Group member. 

Step-by-step guide: 

1. Identify who in your organization can provide the company's KYB information
2. Request your Account Manager to grant this person access to your company's form.
3. Fill out the form with the required information and upload the necessary documents. (Certain sections of the form are optional, depending on Country Requirements).
4. After completing the form, agree to the terms and conditions, and submit it for review. In some cases, you may need to provide clarifications or additional documentation.
5. Once approved, you are ready to proceed to sign the membership agreement.

• For Paynode access: Paynode's solution providers review and validate the provided information. Once your company is approved, your Paynode account setup will be finalized.

Tips

• The entire process can speed up, as long as all necessary documents are submitted correctly and in full.
• Review the templates and samples we offer to ensure the documentation passes the validation process.
• If there's any additional information or documentation required, just upload them to the verification form and remember to resubmit.
