FAQs

1. Which plan should I choose?

Brokers: Start with Starter if you’re solo (up to 3 users). Choose Advanced for team workflows. Go Ultimate for APIs, widgets, and BI.

Operators: Core lists your fleet and handles RFQs. Pro adds efficiency and visibility. Ultimate unlocks APIs, widgets, and advanced reporting.

   2. Can I add users?

Brokers: Starter supports up to 3 users. Advanced and Ultimate support team setups. Your Account Manager can size the right number of licenses.

Operators: Plans support multiple users; your Account Manager will size seats to your team.

   3. Can I switch plans later?

Yes. You can upgrade at any time. Your Account Manager will help with timing and proration.

   4. Do prices include taxes?

Prices may vary by region and typically exclude VAT/GST. Applicable taxes are added based on your billing address.

   5. How do I get API access?

API enablement goes through your Account Manager. They’ll initiate and guide setup.

   6. Do you offer trials or pilots?

Talk to Sales about the best way to evaluate fit for your team.

What is KYB information?

KYB stands for "Know-Your-Business". This is sometimes referred to as KYC which stands for "Know-Your-Customer."

Why does Avinode Group require this information?

Avinode Group requires all its members to undergo the verification process to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, following know-your-business (KYB) practices. Your KYB information enables us to maintain platform security and build trust among members.

During this process, we verify that your company legally exists, understand how it's organized, and, identify ultimate business owners (UBOs) and major shareholders.

Also, if you are an existing member who wants to use Paynode, completing the verification process is a prerequisite for activating Paynode.

From submission to approval

Our team is here to guide you through every step of the process of becoming an Avinode Group member. 

1. Identify who in your organization can provide the company's KYB information
2. Request your Account Manager to grant this person access to your company's form.
3. Fill out the form with the required information and upload the necessary documents. (Certain sections of the form are optional, depending on Country Requirements).
4. After completing the form, agree to the terms and conditions, and submit it for review. In some cases, you may need to provide clarifications or additional documentation.
5. Once approved, you are ready to proceed to sign the membership agreement.

• For Paynode access: Paynode's solution providers review and validate the provided information. Once your company is approved, your Paynode account setup will be finalized.

Tips

• The entire process can speed up, as long as all necessary documents are submitted correctly and in full.
• Review the templates and samples we offer to ensure the documentation passes the validation process.
• If there's any additional information or documentation required, just upload them to the verification form and remember to resubmit.

As an Avinode Group member, you have several Avinode employees (Noders) assigned to your account. Each of these Noders has a role in supporting your company’s goals and the day-to-day workflow. The breakdown below will give you a better understanding of each role and how we can assist you and your team's needs.

Account Manager   

They are the go-to person for any questions about your account membership including adjustments to your fleet, account users, API integrations or other account add-ons, and  sales & billing questions. They are also here to have a conversation about your business, including your plans for the future, and how Avinode Group products may help.

Your Account Manager is listed on your home page when you log on to Avinode, where you also can find their contact details.

Onboarding Specialist

Your Onboarding Specialist will help with onboarding, implementation, and adoption of the Avinode Group products so that you can reach your operational goals while deriving our products maximum value. Your specialist will help setup your account and train your team while also educating you on existing and new features of Avinode. They will be your contact for the first few weeks while you start your account.

Customer Success Manager

Your Customer Success Manager (CSM) will ensure you receive maximum value from the features you subscribe to. You can contact your CSM to talk about best practices on workflow, tips and tricks on optimizing your account, as well as to discuss feedback. This feedback they will bring back to our product teams. Your CSM is your product expert, and they are here to monitor the success of your account, your Customer Success Manger is listed on your home page where you also can find their contact details.

Support Team

Contact our support team when you need immediate assistance regarding a system issue or when you believe technical support is necessary. If you cannot find the answer to your "how to?" question in our Academy section, this team is also available. You can contact them via email (support@avinode.com) or start a chat by opening the widget in the bottom left corner of your screen.

To join Avinode Group or begin using our payment services, you need to fill out and submit the KYB Information form for review and approval.

• For companies registered in countries not listed below, or for those not planning to use Paynode, some sections of the KYB form are optional. These optional sections are highlighted with a blue information message.
• To sign up for Paynode, companies legally registered in one of the permitted jurisdictions (listed below) must complete the entire KYB information form.

For account countries marked with (*), card payments are not supported. The available payments methods are: 

• Wire transfers
• FX Conversions 
• Instant payments
• Card payments (Except for countries marked with (*).

Please note that the list above is updated periodically. 

What is the KYB form?

It's the first step in Avinode Group's verification process. You must submit this form with the required information and documents.   

Who can see the KYB form?

Access to the KYB information form is highly restricted. Only a small, dedicated team within Avinode Group, and or payment solution providers compliance teams can view it.

How do I access the KYB form?

You can easily open the form from the link we emailed you from verify@avinode.com or by going to your account under Company  > KYB information.

This section helps us to confirm that your business is up and running and that the business activities are connected to business aviation. 

The verification process at Avinode Group requires gathering specific documents that outline detailed information about a member’s business.  This article lists the required documentation, potential alternative documentation, templates, and samples.  Depending on the type of membership being applied for, these requirements may vary or may not be required.  

Please remember that the samples provided are for illustration only, and your actual documentation may vary. We recommend using the templates provided on this page to minimize missing information and avoid delays in the review process.

Company Information Section (Registers and Certificates)

Proof of legal registration: These documents prove that the Company was legally created and registered. 

Examples of company certificates and operating agreements.

Ownership Structure (Owners and Directors)

Templates of letter of ownership structure, directors, shareholders, and their respective percentages.

Key People Section (IDs Requirement)

In this section, we kindly ask you to provide two identification documents. More specifically, we require the following:

• One ID for the majority owner (directly or indirectly owning 10% or more)
• One ID for a company executive or director.

If no person directly or indirectly owns 10% or more of the company, we instead require IDs for two registered company executives or directors.

ID documents uploaded should be full color, cropped, and straightened image free from any glare. Please refer to the following instructions:

Please also note that the ID requirements differ when completing the KYB form for access to our payment solution. If you are seeking access to payments through Paynode, we require the following:

• IDs are required for all individuals listed as Key People in the form
• At least one director (or owner, if a director hasn't been provided) is required to upload a selfie holding a valid ID close to their face. See the example image below. Note: The ID in the selfie must match the ID card attached for that key person in the form below.

 

Bank Accounts Section (Statements or Financials)

This section is only required if you are completing KYB for access to our payment solution.

The Bank Statements help us confirm that your business is up and running and that its activities are connected to business aviation. The bank statement must be registered in the Company's name and dated within the last 3 months. We also require two signed charter sales quotes or invoices.
