What is KYB?
KYB stands for "Know-Your-Business". This is a business verification process that confirms a company's legal identity, ownership structure, and ultimate business owners (UBOs) and major shareholders. It is similar to Know-Your-Customer (KYC), which is used to verify individuals.
Why does Avinode Group require this information?
We require all members to complete a KYB verification process to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. This helps maintain a secure and trusted platform and protects everyone using the Avinode network.
For Paynode access: If you are an existing member who wants to use Paynode, completing the KYB verification is required before Paynode can be activated.
How the process works
Our team is here to guide you through every step of the process:
- Step 1: Identify who in your organization can provide the company's KYB information.
- Step 2: If you don't already have access, contact your Avinode Representative to request it.
-
Step 3: Fill out the form with the required information and upload the needed documents.
- Note: Certain parts of the form are optional, depending on Country Requirements.
-
Step 4: After you finish the form, agree to the terms and conditions, and click Submit.
What happens after submission?
Once we've reviewed your submission, we'll notify you of the outcome. If we need additional information or documentation, we'll contact you. Any follow-up may come from verify@avinode.com.
For Paynode access: Paynode's payment partners will also review your information. Once your company is approved, your Paynode account setup will be completed.
Tips for faster approval:
Review times vary depending on the information provided and whether additional documentation is required.
- Submit all requested documents in full.
- Make sure documents are current, complete, and clearly legible.
- Review our Templates and Samples to ensure the documentation passes the review.
- If we request additional information, upload it through the KYB form and resubmit your application promptly.
