To establish an integration between your FMS or quoting software you will need an authentication token. Please notify the Avinode team to setup the connection.
What we will do is create an API token. This token needs to be implemented in your FMS (in this step you might need the assistance of your own fleet management system's support team whom can show you were to insert the token). Please find the instructions below:
1. Login to Avinode and go to Company→APIs. This will only be visible to you if you have the right permissions. If you don't, you need to ask your company administrator to collect the token.
2. You will find a list of the current API connections you have with us. To collect the right token you need to click View on the correct API connection in the list.
3. The details of this API connection will appear on the page. On the right hand side you will find a link that says Show Credentials. Clicking on this will open up the authentication token information.
4. Your FMS provider will be able to tell you what to do with the token once you have collected it.
As you will find, the token is an extremely long string of numbers and letters. To copy it you will click on the link "Copy to clipboard" on the bottom of the box, in the Authentication Token section.
Once this step is done you notify Avinode and we will switch your aircraft from manual schedule updates to automatic integration. After this Avinode will mirror what you have in your own system and you will not be able to make any manual updates anymore. Depending on your settings, your schedule will be updated frequently night and day for as long as you want.
*Any empty legs posted in your schedule will be automatically marketed in Avinode.
