Capability with Maintenance Integration

Schedaero's Maintenance features allow you to utilize our CAMP or Traxxall integration to get a comprehensive view of the status of your aircraft and how the aircraft status may affect your upcoming Scheduled trips.

The new Aircraft Status Dashboard gives you a high-level view of your aircraft based on information from your CAMP or Traxxall integration and allows you to click into an individual aircraft for a more detailed view where you can see additional information such as next-due items imported from CAMP or Traxxall and view/create discrepancies. There are also more robust maintenance warnings that allow you to see when there may be a maintenance issue related to an aircraft that is scheduled for a trip.

CAMP Integration

1. Create a new pricing profile from the Aircraft Pricing Profile tab.

The pricing profile type should be assigned to Retail.

 

Please note, we recommend using a wholesale pricing profile for the Avinode Marketplace and a separate pricing profile (retail) for end customers and/or aircraft owners.

 

2. Next, add the tax line items to your pricing profile from the Add line item drop down.

 

3. Remember to review the tax line items and hit save. Please note, the below taxes are are the taxes currently supported by Schedaero. Please see the NBAA's guide on how to use these taxes.

 

 

Seeing the margin between your trip-related revenues and cost is a way to figure out if you should cut your costs or increase your fees. You can now assign specific costs related to your pricing options, by updating your pricing profiles and on the go when you add a new line item to your quotes. 

 

Step 1.

Edit your pricing profiles where you are interested in seeing a margin in pricing. You can also add line items on the go. The cost and margin functions are available for most pricing options apart from tax and airport-based ones. 

 

To edit the pricing profiles go to Aircraft→Pricing Profiles→Edit the Tail→ Update Cost pricing→ Update whether you want Margin to show or not. 

 

You can leave the box checked to not show a margin, or unchecked to be able to update Cost and Rate. 

 

In Cost, box enter the Cost number it takes your company to operate the flight and on Rate box the price you're charging. Once this is set up, a Margin will appear on your quotes.

 

 

 

Step 2.

In the Create quote page, click “Show margin” to expand the Cost and margin columns. You also have the option to hide the margin.

 

 

 

Step 3.

Edit costs for different line items and see how they affect the margin on your quotes. 

 

The margin values and percentages are displayed both per line items and in the Totals section at the bottom of the quote. 

 

All tax related information has been moved to a information popup on the Totals label.

 

Schedaero

Our performance calculations are based on the Boeing typical mission. Additionally, we use the Simplified Boeing seasonal winds. This information is based on their 30 years of wind information.

 

 

Avinode and Schedaero use a simplified version of this model.

Accurate entries into an Aircraft’s Performance Profile are beneficial when building trip itineraries and contribute to the safe operation of a flight. When generating a trip, Schedaero calculates flight time based on an aircraft’s performance, allowing you to quote clients on an accurate flight time and provide them with an estimated time of arrival.

 

Schedaero also utilizes the aircraft performance information as a tool to advise on possible safety limitations like runway lengths.

 

Aircraft Performance Profiles are created for aircraft types, so you can associate multiple tails of the same aircraft type with an Aircraft Performance Profile.

CREATING A PERFORMANCE PROFILE

 

1. Go to Aircraft → Performance Profiles

2. Click on the Create New box

3. Enter Aircraft Data

   1. Load Default Data - this will replace all existing data with defaults from the Avinode database.

   2. Manual Entry - manual entry is specific to your aircraft’s fleet and will require you to enter data into all fields indicated with an asterisk.

4. Click Save

 

Amending an existing aircraft performance profile

1. Go to Aircraft→ Performance Profiles

2. Click on the pencil and paper icon to the right of the desired profile

3. Make any desired changes

4. Click Save

 

Associating a performance profile to a specific tail

1. Go to Aircraft→ Performance Profiles

2. Click on the pencil and paper icon to the right of the desired profile

3. Click on the drop-down menu labeled Use on Aircraft

4. Select the tails that you would like to associate with this profile

5. Click Save

AIRCRAFT PERFORMANCE CALIBRATION

To fine-tune your Aircraft’s Performance Profile, you can use flight actuals from previous flights to calibrate the aircraft’s performance profile.

 

NOTE: If flight time is significantly inaccurate, we recommend reviewing the aircraft’s bias time before calibrating. The system adds the bias time value to every flight segment.

Calibrating a performance profile

1. 1. Go to Aircraft→ Performance Profiles

2. Click on the pencil and paper icon to the right of the desired profile

3. Click on the Calibrate tab

4. Enter the flight times into the itinerary

5. Click Save

Continue setting up your Schedaero Compliance and Flight Operations

To create a new pricing profile, the user will click on Create New from the Aircraft Pricing Profiles page.

 

The user will need to fill in all the Basic Information required for the Pricing profile:

 

Status: Select Active

Unique Name: Input Pricing Profile Name

Currency: Select Monetary Currency

Pricing Profile Type: Select the default Pricing profile type Wholesale, Retail, Discount, ASAP trips, Owner Rate, Owner flying on another tail or Unknown.

Use on Aircraft: The user must select from the dropdown the tails assigned to the pricing profile.

 

Optional pricing add-ins:

Urgent Rate: To set up the Pricing profile for trips departing within a specific time frame.

Seasonal Rate: To set up the Pricing profile for trips departing within specific dates.

Avinode Rate: This set up will only show for Members who are also part of the Avinode Marketplace. This setting helps to select when this Pricing profile applies for Avinode requests.

Avinode Empty Leg rate: Use to generate price for empty legs marketed to Avinode.

 

Price Line items

The user can add default price line items to their Pricing profile.

All price line options can be created, edited and arranged on the Price settings page.**

On each price line item, a Cost vs Rate feature can be enabled to create a Margin on quotes.

Cost: The cost number it takes the company to operate a flight.

Rate: The rate the company is charging for the price line item.

The “No Margin” box must be checked off to not show a Margin.

To enable a Margin: Uncheck “No Margin,” enter in the Rate and Cost for each price line item.

If a price line item is not listed, it can be added from the Add line item dropdown.

 

Custom Landing fee pricing:

A custom landing fee for a pricing profile can be added from the Aircraft profile page.

The user can edit the Aircraft profile page and select the Airport tab.

 

A currency must be selected and saved prior to adding the landing fees.

 

Landing fees can be added in bulk via a spreadsheet or individually.

 

Bulk add airports & landing fees: Upload Airport fees via a spreadsheet and upload to the system.

 

Adding an individual airport fee: Select Create new then input ICAO, Landing fee, Per Pax departure fee, and Per Pax arrival fee if applicable.

 

 

 

Specify as what point the system should show a warning that maintenance is near due. Warning will show when the maintenance total or date exceeds the specified threshold.

The system allows you to amend the following warning types:

• Legs until MX due - (Cycles, starts, take-offs, landings)

• Hours until MX due - (Engine, airframe, Hobbs, tach)

• Days until MX due - (Next MX due date)

   

To amend these lead times, follow these steps:

1. Click on Company in the primary header
2. Click Settings from the drop-down option or from the secondary header
3. Click on the General tab
4. Locate the Aircraft maintenance warnings section
5. Amend the preferred fields
6. Click Save
