An auto-hold is a temporary hold on the cardholder's available credit limit. The auto-hold protects the seller and the cardholder by ensuring funds are available for pending transactions.
Under Company -> Settings - Auto-hold settings must be filled in to activate the functionality.
In the payment overview, the Automatic hold will be presented with the date it is scheduled for.
If the Automatic hold needs to be canceled, the card-on-file can still be used for hold and charges - but the amount will no longer be automatically held.
If you want to skip the Automatic hold when requesting a payment, this can be done by selecting "I don't need to secure funds" in the dropdown menu.
