Why do I Receive Request for Empty Legs Outside my Date Range Listing?

When you receive an empty leg request, the schedule availability has not been considered. We view empty legs as separate events from your schedule. 

In the section for potential empty leg matches in the search result we show those that have a similar route, and they take place within 24 hours of the requested itinerary. We know most empty legs have flexibility and want to allow the seller an opportunity to sell the empty leg with a +/- 24 hour margin. We also understand some operators want their empty legs to show for multiple days, others want just that specific time. Today, the system does not support restrictions.

The buyer who has sent the requests for the empty leg know that this might require flexibility for their end client if they chose an empty leg. Therefore, they requested the Empty leg even though it was on a different day.
