Reconcile your transactions easily by downloading reports and statements directly within the Paynode platform.

You have the flexibility to export your reports or generate statements for any required period. Download reports in CSV, Excel, or OFX formats for free and at your convenience.

Below are the various types of reports available for download.

• Account Statements - detailed transactions and balances per month or year are available to download in a PDF format.
• Transaction Data - download all transitions reporting for all accounting software that supports OFX files.
• Credit Card Transactions - breakdown of card payments including fees and net disbursement are available to download in an Excel file.
• Transaction Matching Data -  all confirmed transactions matched with trips are available to download in a CSV file format.
• Export Data - download all transitions reporting for all accounting software that supports CSV files.

To access your Paynode reports and account statements:

1. Log on to your Avinode account and toggle over to Paynode.
2. Go to the Finance Tab - Accounts.

This article details how to export a Transaction file in OFX (Open Financial Exchange) format from Paynode to use in accounting software.

1. Download the Transaction File

In Paynode, select the tab Finance → Accounts → Transaction Data.

 

2. Select Time Period and Currency

The transaction data can be downloaded after selecting the time period and currency. A confirmation of the currency and time period along with the number of transactions in the selected period will appear once the download is complete.

 

3. File Upload in your Accounting Software

Next, you have to log into your accounting software and import the file under the corresponding account - depending on the software, this action might be called “Import data”, “Import a statement”, or “Upload statement”.

 

⚙️It is important that the account you import the file to must be configured to have the same currency as the downloaded transaction file. Otherwise, an error might occur, or the currency might be automatically changed to an incorrect one. You can see the currency of the file by simply checking the file name. For example: “2023-08-01_2023-08-31_GBP.ofx”.

Please note that this file format may not be supported to be opened on its own, please proceed to upload it to complete the process. You can double-check the number of transactions imported by comparing it with the number of transactions shown after completing the download.

We offer an accounting software integration with QuickBooks Online for your Paynode account. 

What data is sent to your QuickBooks Online?

• Completed transactions or payments for the linked Paynode currency account(s)
• The transaction amount, counterpart (sender or beneficiary), and (when provided) text from the transaction message field is sent to QuickBooks Online

How do I link my Paynode account to QuickBooks Online?

1. Go to your Paynode account, then chose the following tabs: Company -> Settings -> Accounting Integration page in Paynode.
2. Initiate the linking by clicking on the blue button “Manage QuickBooks Online”.

3. Step-by-step instructions will be shown on a new page (please see the image below).

Note:  The linking process uses specific credentials and you will never be asked to enter your Avinode username or password.

Transaction data is sent to your QuickBooks Online account with a delay of around 3 hours after the transaction has been completed.

Paynode has a transactional fee structure & applies transactional fees for outgoing wire transfers to 3rd Parties. 

- Incoming wire transfers will not attract any fees
- Withdrawals from Paynode to your traditional bank account "payments to self" will not incur any fees

⚠️In order to ensure you are not charged 3rd party wire fees for payments to self, you need to ensure your company's bank account are correctly setup as external accounts ⚠️

How do I set up my company's external accounts?

You'll find My External Accounts under the tab Company > Settings > My External Accounts. Also to be found here.

1. Under the Account field review your company's accounts.
2. If the field is blank, type to search or choose from the drop-down.

What should I do if I can't select or locate my External account?

if you can't find the settings, or if you're unable to select or locate your external account, please ensure you've checked the following:

User Permissions: To access My External Accounts you'll need to have full Finance permissions, please contact your company Avinode admin if you lack the right permissions.

The company bank matches the one in the KYB information form. Note that the bank account added to My External Accounts should be registered to the same legal entity as your approved bank account during your initial KYB application.

The pre-filled bank account is correct:  In some cases, we were able to pre-fill your bank details based on the information given in your application process. If the pre-filled account is incorrect or you can't find the bank account follow the steps below. 

1. If the account is incorrect or if you can find the correct account go to step 2. 
2. Search and select from the accounts in the Account field.
3. If you can't find your external bank account or need to be corrected, click Manage Beneficiaries located at the top of the My External Accounts page and you'll be directed to the Account Console to locate your Currency accounts. 
4. Add your external bank details under Beneficiary.
5. Repeat step 2, to search and select the correct account. 
6. Update your company's bank under your KYB form and submit it. This is found under the Company tab and KYB Information from the drop-down.
