What's new?
On August 19, 2025, we updated how Schedaero integrates with CAMP and Traxxall to improve data accuracy and simplify your workflow.
Previously, your maintenance system (CAMP, Traxxall, etc.) could overwrite aircraft totals in Schedaero, which sometimes caused confusion about which system had the correct data.
Going forward, Schedaero will serve as the single source of truth for aircraft totals.
Totals entered or updated in CAMP or Traxxall will no longer overwrite Schedaero data. Instead, Schedaero will now push its totals to your maintenance system during syncs, ensuring consistent and accurate totals across platforms.
This ensures accuracy and consistency, and prevents future sync errors, especially ahead of our flight log verification feature.
To ensure you can see which flight logs have been successfully updated it's totals in your MX System, Schedaero will set a green checkmark ✅ in your flight log table to confirm sync and updated totals.
How it Looks
By navigating to Trips > Flight Logs you'll see the updates in the Flight Log Table.
Each completed log now shows its sync status on your right side, a green checkmark ✅ means your mainenance system has been updated.
Your Aircraft totals can always be reviewed and updated in the Aircraft Status Dashboard:
Navigating to Maintenance > Aircraft Status and clicking on the Aircraft Tail will give you the options to:
- Making adjustments by selecting Override totals
- Update on, or multiple, fields such as Hours, Cycles, Landings etc.
- View history
- Delete past overrides
Important information
If you already are using the MX integration and have been editing aircraft totals in CAMP/Traxxall:
- Any updates to totals in CAMP/Traxxall will be overwritten by Schedaero on the next push
- Updates to totals in CAMP/Traxxall will not be pushed back to Schedaero
- To allow Maintenance to make updates in Schedaero (e.g. for APU times), ensure the right users have Maintenance permissions
Navigate to People > Users > Edit the user and make sure Maintenance is ticked
It's good practice to ask CAMP/Traxxall to lock totals editing to prevent any future problems.
FAQ
Q: What if something happens outside of flight logging (e.g. a maintenance cycle)?
A: You can manually update totals in Schedaero. Those updates will sync to CAMP or Traxxall.
Q: What permissions are needed to edit totals?
A: Users must have the “Maintenance” permission in Schedaero.
There is also a “Maintenance (View Only)” permission level, which allows users to view totals and history without making changes, ideal for team members who need visibility but shouldn’t be able to make edits.
Q: Can I turn off totals editing in my MX system?
A: Yes, in CAMP, your analyst can disable totals fields selectively. This helps avoid conflicts.
For Traxxall, we recommend reaching out to your Traxxall point of contact to explore whether similar controls are available. While we can’t guarantee the same functionality, your rep may be able to advise on best practices.
Q: Will I still receive due list items and discrepancies from CAMP/Traxxall?
A: Yes, Schedaero will continue syncing those items as usual.
